Consumer Opinion Services offers field services in most of the markets we serve. Projects may be bid based on hourly rates or on a per project basis. We recommend a one to two week lead time for field projects, although rush services are available (depending on current work load) at higher rates.

Mystery Shopping
Trained representatives pose as customers in retail and service establishments and rate them on selection, service, price, appearance, or whatever criteria is specified.
Audits & Distribution Checks
Usually done in grocery or other retail establishments. Representatives check for product presence, shelf location, price, number of facings,and any special displays.
Medical/Executive Interviews
Our interviewers travel to the respondents offices and conduct the interview in person, on site. A cash incentive is usually paid to the respondent. This methodology is usually more expensive but is often the only way to interview doctors or busy executives.
Product Purchases
We find and purchase products as specified and ship them out as required. The northwest is a popular test ground for new products due to its' relative isolation and lower media costs.
In-Store Intercepts
We interview consumers directly in-store and thereby gain a more direct and immediate answer about consumer preferences.
Convention Intercept and Interviewing
Our interviewers attend specific industry conventions to sample opinions regarding competing products.
